This role provides vital support to department supervisors by organizing workflows, maintaining performance standards, and ensuring safe work practices. Position Summary The Group Leader contributes essential support to departments and supervisors by coordinating activities, workflow, and resources to achieve daily goals. This role helps maintain accuracy, performance standards, and compliance with safe work practices across the distribution team. Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine technical support tasks in the warehouse under general supervision, reporting any issues or deviations to the internal team.
- Gather employee feedback across departments to ensure technical support is aligned with business needs.
- Communicate with supervisors to understand staffing needs, assignments, and resource allocation.
- Maintain key performance metrics to monitor distribution transactions and service levels.
- Collect and analyze departmental data on KPIs to measure progress toward expected outcomes.
- Monitor day‑to‑day operations and apply LEAN principles to support efficient workflows.
- Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment safely; assist in reinforcing safety protocols with team members.
- Support the execution of distribution strategies by helping to translate goals into team‑level actions.
- Organize workloads, schedules, and educational materials to keep operations running on time. Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment (training provided if needed).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- 0-1 year of relevant warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Education
