Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Terminal Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual pipeline cuts, product quality testing, and loading rack operations. This role involves ensuring safe and efficient terminal operations, handling petroleum products and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Fuel Terminal Operator Job Duties:
- Train and assist drivers and Carriers on the proper use of the automated loading system.
- Set up new Drivers.
- Coordinate product deliveries.
- Complete various maintenance tasks to include but not limited to repairs/maintenance of terminal equipment, maintain grounds, grass/snow removal, conduct regular PM, operate pumps, valves, fork-lift, pressure wash/paint, etc.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of terminal equipment.
- Reconcile tank inventory daily.
- Possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Extreme commitment to safety, understands all elements of the emergency response plan.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess valid Driver's License
- Pass a drug test
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, work on elevated heights
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime as needed
- Willingness to work outside
- Possesses a strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to complete minor repairs, utilizing various hand-tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in terminal operations preferred related experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of tank farm operations, valves, pumps and meters.
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HAZWOPER, RCRA, and ICS training.
Job Type:
