Job Description
Pace Inc, an outdoor power equipment distributor based out of Plymouth, Michigan is looking for a Full-Time shipping and Receiving Warehouse Coordinator for our Plymouth, MI location. This position receives, stores, distributes, and packs materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Oversees and performs daily storage and organization of equipment within the warehouse, and ensures equipment items are stable after stacking.
- Manages equipment supply inventories, to include inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, and performs and oversees actual physical counts of inventory.
- Performs and oversees general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance.
- Manages all inbound and outbound equipment shipments, including preparation of sequentially numbered paperwork in the software accounting system, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services. Third party software is to be used effectively to ship LTL, volume, and full truck loads where applicable.
- Verifies all incoming shipments for correct waybill (BOL) information and visible damage. Annotates BOL when damages or shortages are found while carrier representative is still on site. Communicates and conducts follow-up on discrepancies with warehouse manager. Communicates with other warehouse employees to ensure shipping related problems are resolved.
- Ensures that merchandise is processed accurately, including labeling, pricing and dating.
- Utilizes available IT equipment, to include the computer terminal, RF scanner, printer, photocopier, fax machine and calculator, in order to receive, locate, pick, and ship equipment. Reports any shortages or damage to supervisor.
- Covers duties and responsibilities of Parts Shipping and Receiving Coordinator and Shipping and Receiving Clerk when needed.
- When work load permits, helps the parts department receive, pick, and ship inbound and outbound or organize as needed.
- Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
- Communicates with order entry, service, and manufacture representatives to assist with updates which are done on site, and to resolve issues involving inbound and outbound shipments. Job Requirements and Qualifications
Competencies and Skills:
Technical capacity, communication proficiency, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skillsRequired Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent, and minimum of 2 years previous warehouse experience. Forklift certified.- Preferred Education and experience: More than 2 years previous shipping and receiving experience, leadership role experience. Other Requirements
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb stairs or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with a start time ranging between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM depending on work needs. During peak business times, shift may go over designated end time, and a shift may be required on an occasional Saturday.Job Type:
