If you want to grow your skills with an industry leader, apply with us today! We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving for our Taylor, MI facility. On the job training will be provided as required. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
What You'll Do:
Maintain and coordinate activities of all involved in the shipping & receiving process. Monitor receiving to ensure inbound products are processed according to priority, receipt of all inbound product is processed within company guidelines, and that all pertinent information is entered into the work order system as required. Monitor shipping to ensure that outbound products are properly packaged to prevent damage and that all shipments are delivered via customer / company requirements and priority, and that all shipment information is entered into the work order system as required. Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions Coordinate local delivery schedules with company driver(s), Customer Service, Customers, and Sales team members as required. Perform all shipping and receiving functions as required, including loading and unloading LTL shipments (fork truck certification is required). Coordinate changing delivery and priority requirements as necessary. Why You'll Love Working for

Strong computer skills Shipping and Receiving Experience 5+ years Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Effective communication skills (oral / written) Basic negotiation skills Ability to multitask No lifting restrictions Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience preferred We are an equal opportunity employer M/F/V/D.
