Safeguard accuracy. Lead the team. Our Warren, MI 48092 facility depends on a Dock Operations & Secondary Processing Lead to keep materials moving with zero surprises. You'll build a culture of safety and accountability while coordinating inbound receipts, outbound shipments, and secondary operations that keep production humming. Your impact Command the daily rhythm of shipping and receiving to achieve on‑time, accurate execution. Coach, mentor, and develop a skilled dock crew; deliver training that sticks. Translate demand into action by partnering with production and purchasing to align inventory and fulfillment. Own shipment traceability—complete, accurate tracking and documentation for every load. Model safety leadership and enforce standards for a clean, hazard‑free workplace. Continuously refine processes that reduce errors and increase speed. Perform and support cycle counts and audits to maintain trustworthy inventory. Build productive relationships with carriers and vendors to resolve issues quickly. Qualifications to succeed High school diploma or equivalent; logistics/supply chain coursework a plus. Background in shipping/receiving with prior leadership responsibility preferred. Detail‑driven organizer who thrives in a fast‑paced setting. Strong communicator and collaborator at every level. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without sacrificing quality. Experience with inventory tools and shipping software—UPS WorldShip familiarity required. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices. Physically able to lift heavy packages and operate material‑handling equipment.
