Lead the forklift operators in the efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of all supplies, products, and raw materialsAssist in the set up and control of FEFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materialsMonitor workflow between inbound and outbound loads and adjust staffing accordinglyModel load and paperwork handling best practicesHold teams accountable for scanning and tagging productsEnsure timely reporting to management of all incidents that would impact food safety and personnel safetyServe as a liaison between staff teams to facilitate streamlined communication and minimize load delaysAssist in staging and preparation of documentation for product and material being picked up or shippedDrive process improvement initiatives aimed at gaining efficiencies throughout the DC'sCreate SOPs as needed to ensure consistent methods used by all Forklift OperatorsProvide inventory for forklift operators when needed or when requestedCommunicate with all leads and supervisors with an update at the end of each shiftAdhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, quality production and Food SafetyWhat You Need toBring:
3+ years' experience in Warehousing/Forklift is preferred, but not requiredRegular standing and sitting required for extended periods of timeAbility to work within warehouse management system and use scanning equipmentAbility to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsComfortable in warehouse and production environment that may include noise, dust, production chemicals and variable temperaturesKnowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and customer portalsAbility to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitorsReady to Apply?Click "Apply Now" to complete our quick, mobile-friendly application.
