Job Description

Position Summary:
Providing daily warehouse operational supervision and system process execution accordingly for the daily order volume in regional warehouse. Managing the daily input and output of inventory as well as communicating and reporting related information among warehouse and headquarters. Upholding accident prevention activities and understandings for the proper maintenance of the warehouse environment as well as properly training the warehouse staff. Responsible for monitoring and finalizing purchases for the warehouse while practicing cost-savings strategies. In charge of supervising warehouse employees for their overall performance, training, attendance, and productivity in efforts to promote an efficient workflow.
Role Description:
Managing daily distribution center operations and system execution which include order fulfillment, inventory management, communication in between related parties, and accident prevention. Also training all the employees to achieve efficient performance, monitoring supply level, and budgeting while implementing cost-savings methods.
Responsibilities:
Supervising daily operation with system process execution. Handling inbound & outbound orders complying with SOP and safety standards in a timely manner. System (including
WMS, TMS, ERP
) management. Conducting final checks and inspections of orders before loading and shipping out. Inventory/Space/Structural management. Track of WMS information and physical inventory including periodic inventory physical count. Keep shipping documents chronologically controlled to easily retrieve (BOL, RO, pictures, etc.) Communication between warehouse and headquarters. Submitting and emailing daily reports. Reporting issues or incidents to headquarters in a timely manner. Supervising warehouse employees. Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees Monitoring attendance and productivity of employees including monitoring activities on Paylocity. Implementing back-up plans for absences. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in the proper condition to execute daily operations. Look for the cost saving opportunities and implement. Keep up with building/equipment maintenance. Monitoring and finalizing office and warehouse supply purchases. Organizing and following up with the invoices. Office administrative tasks including customer services via phone and email or in person.
Qualifications:
Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work Experience:
BA in business or related field preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant warehouse experience (supervisory experience preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Organizational skills. Initiative mind set. Problem solving skills. Multitasking skills. Strong leadership abilities. Ability to strategize and plan. Strong safety minded skills (ability to interpret and process safety procedures and manuals) Ability to withstand a variety of standing, lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds, and pulling inventory. Ability to operate forklift in safe manners and use other daily warehouse equipment such as pallet jack and banding tools. Great Oral and Written Communication Skills. MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience of warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
Physical Demands:
Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients. Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time. Position requires minimal lifting up to _50_ lbs. Position requires regular and reliable attendance. ※

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
