Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead daily warehouse operations and support a high-performing, safety-focused team. In this role, you will help ensure smooth workflow, accurate inventory management, and efficient order processing while fostering a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Supervise, train, and support warehouse team members to meet performance and productivity goals. Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper documentation of inbound and outbound materials. Coordinate workflow, staffing, and task assignments to maintain operational efficiency. Promote and enforce safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance coaching as needed. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency. Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and leadership regarding operational needs. Support equipment and facility upkeep by reporting issues and coordinating follow-up actions. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory operations. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Working knowledge of warehouse processes, safety practices, and inventory control. Ability to use warehouse systems, RF scanners, and basic computer applications. Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and adapt to changing priorities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Preferred Attributes Experience coaching team members and supporting performance improvement. Familiarity with shipping and receiving documentation and procedures. Lean, continuous improvement, or operational efficiency experience. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification if required.
