Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Order Fulfillment Supervisor to lead a second-shift distribution team for a well-established organization in Burlington, NC. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys developing employees, improving performance, and keeping a fast-paced distribution operation running safely and efficiently. The Supervisor will lead a team of 7 Order Selectors and 1 Team Lead supporting both ambient and refrigerated/frozen warehouse areas. Schedule Sunday

•1:00 AM What You'll Be Doing Lead, coach, and develop Order Fulfillment employees and the existing Team Lead. Oversee second-shift warehouse and outbound distribution operations. Conduct shift meetings and team huddles. Monitor productivity, order accuracy, mispicks, and overall team performance. Ensure outbound shipments are accurately selected, staged, and loaded. Utilize the warehouse management system and RF/scanner technology to manage order fulfillment. Maintain a strong focus on warehouse safety and compliance. Interview, hire, train, and develop second-shift employees. Manage employee performance, attendance, PTO, payroll approvals, and disciplinary actions. Partner with other supervisors and supply chain leadership to improve warehouse processes. Provide hands-on support to the operation when needed. What We're Looking For Previous warehouse or distribution leadership experience. Strong people leadership, coaching, and employee-development skills. Experience supervising order selectors, pickers, warehouse associates, or similar employees. Foodservice distribution, grocery distribution, cold storage, or refrigerated/frozen warehouse experience strongly preferred. Experience working in both ambient and cooler/freezer environments preferred. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, or similar order-selection technology. Strong understanding of productivity, order accuracy, safety, and outbound shipping. Comfortable being visible and hands-on on the warehouse floor. High School Diploma or GED required. The facility includes ambient, cooler, loading-dock, and freezer areas, with temperatures ranging from approximately 70°F down to 0°F. Compensation & Benefits $60,000
