The role will be 1st shift (6am-4pm) from January-September, but will be 1pm-11:30pm October-December Job Purpose Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Warehouse Order Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily order processing and fulfillment activities within the warehouse. This position provides hands-on leadership to ensure customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed, picked, packed, labeled, staged, and shipped according to company standards and customer requirements. The Warehouse Order Processing Supervisor will coordinate daily workload priorities, monitor order fulfillment performance, provide direction to warehouse team members, and work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Inventory, and other departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. This is a working supervisor position that requires the individual to actively participate in warehouse activities while providing leadership, organization, and direction to the order processing team. Essential Responsibilities Generate daily pick tickets, print batched orders and establish priorities based on customer requirements, shipping deadlines, expedited orders, and operational needs. Prioritize and coordinate daily Direct-to-Customer (DTC) orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Oversee and participate in the complete order fulfillment process, including printing orders, picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping. Monitor daily order volume and adjust priorities and resources as needed to meet shipping deadlines. Utilize NetSuite searches, reports, and other system tools to monitor open orders and ensure timely fulfillment. Monitor order cycle times, fulfillment rates, order accuracy, and other applicable performance metrics. Identify order processing issues and work with the Director of Operations and Operations Manager to resolve them quickly. Assist in creating drafts, printing labels, generating Bills of Lading (BOLs), and sending Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) for weekly Mass and Amazon orders through SPS Commerce. Create and print customer-specific carton and pallet labels in accordance with customer routing guides and shipping requirements. Ensure orders are properly palletized, labeled, wrapped, and staged prior to shipment. Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to warehouse employees assigned to order processing and fulfillment activities. Assign work and communicate daily priorities to team members based on order volume, shipping deadlines, and available resources. Monitor employee productivity, work quality, attendance, and adherence to established warehouse procedures. Escalate potential delays, order discrepancies, inventory issues, or customer requirements that may impact fulfillment. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, order fulfillment, stock/material handling, or related operations experience. Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, staging, and shipping. Strong computer skills required, including experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and email. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred. Forklift experience required or preferred, depending on company certification requirements. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide direction and leadership to warehouse employees. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse products and materials as required by the position. Must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Must follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards. Must be willing to perform hands-on warehouse duties in addition to supervisory responsibilities.
Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
