Job Overview PSI is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Coordinator to manage all aspects of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement throughout our facility. This position requires a unique combination of strong computer and communication skills along with the ability to perform physically demanding warehouse and shipping duties. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is detail-oriented, and can effectively coordinate with freight carriers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring on-time shipments. This is a hands-on role requiring extensive standing, walking, lifting, and forklift operation throughout the workday. Key Responsibilities Manage the shipping and receiving of all products, materials, and supplies. Receive inbound shipments and sign upon receipt. Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders. Inspect packages for damage and properly document receipts. Label deliveries and allocate materials to designated storage locations. Properly stock inventory using a forklift. Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, and all required domestic and international shipping documentation. Coordinate freight shipments and schedule carrier pickups. Perform daily cycle counts, inventory reporting, and inventory adjustments. Work with Purchasing and Accounting to resolve inventory and receiving discrepancies. Prepare products for shipment according to production schedules, including building skids and crates. Verify orders are properly packaged, labeled, and documented prior to shipment. Enter and maintain accurate data in QuickBooks and other company systems. Pick up and deliver parts to and from local suppliers as needed. Perform visual and physical inspections of received materials. Kit work orders and properly label and stage materials for production. Maintain clean, organized shelving, inventory, and shipping areas. Monitor shipping supply inventory and notify Purchasing when replenishment is needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred. Strong computer skills, including experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and data entry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding, hands-on position. Must be able to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for the majority of the workday. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time. Comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment. Must be able to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
