Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference working in a school-based setting near Conover, NC as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity allows you to support students' behavioral and academic growth through collaboration with dedicated educators and related service providers.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required Previous experience working with school-aged populations preferred Strong understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based intervention strategies Skilled at developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team consultation and training Ability to adapt techniques and approaches to individual student needs Effective record-keeping and report-writing abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Assess students using FBAs and collaborate to develop data-driven BIPs Provide direct and consultative behavior analytic support to teachers and staff Guide the implementation of behavior intervention strategies in classrooms and across settings Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions Deliver staff training and support in best ABA practices Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams Communicate clearly and compassionately with families and school personnel This role offers the satisfaction of making a daily impact on students' lives, working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team in a collaborative educational environment.
