Warehouse Supervisor - Green New Energy MaterialsJob Overview Green New Energy Materials is seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations supporting the production and distribution of advanced battery materials. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics within a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will oversee warehouse personnel, drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and help maintain the operational excellence that supports our growing clean energy business. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and production material replenishment. Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals. Ensure timely and accurate receipt of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies while coordinating outbound shipments of finished products. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software. Support manufacturing by ensuring uninterrupted material flow and efficient staging of production orders. Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Planning, and Logistics teams to meet customer commitments and production schedules. Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure on-time deliveries. Identify and implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that improve warehouse efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization. Monitor warehouse performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend operational improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment while supporting 5S initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards, conducting regular safety meetings and reinforcing safe work practices. Qualifications 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, battery materials, or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and logistics coordination. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory control software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage performance, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and process improvement methodologies. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; forklift certification preferred. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, warehouse safety practices, and environmental compliance. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and extended periods of standing or walking.
