Experience:

Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required. Previous shipping, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Sunday, 7:00am to 7:00pm Greene Resources is seeking a Weekend Shipping Lead to join a growing and dynamic team!

Lead and coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule. Provide direction and support to shipping team members and help coordinate daily workflow and priorities. Serve as a point of contact for the shipping team and communicate shipping priorities, issues, and updates to leadership. Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements. Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation. Maintain accurate shipping records using Microsoft Excel, including data entry, Pivot Tables, tracking, and reporting. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure materials are available and shipments are completed on time. Load and unload trucks, including scrap materials and other warehouse items weighing up to 30 lbs. Inspect, organize, and prepare scrap materials for shipment while following safety and compliance requirements. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with training and onboarding shipping team members on processes, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Monitor shipping activities and help identify and resolve discrepancies or delays.

Position Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including Pivot Tables, data entry, and reporting. Ability to safely operate, or learn to operate, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong understanding of shipping documentation and warehouse processes. Ability to lead a team, coordinate workflow, and manage competing priorities. Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily shipping activities. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
