Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure operational efficiency. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a collaborative work environment. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to facilitate movement of goods. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and the use of equipment. Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage distribution center operations to meet shipping & receiving deadlines. Experience Proven warehouse experience with a strong background in distribution center operations, inventory control, and logistics management. Prior warehouse supervisor or team leadership experience demonstrating effective management of staff and operational processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and materials handling.
