Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising daily logistics activities to ensure efficient processes and compliance with SOPs, cGMP, safety regulations Manages receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures Communicates with suppliers and freight forwarders for shipment and receipt of raw materials, biological intermediates and finished goods Recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower cost Trains personnel to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed Follows all safety, GMP, and environmental requirements in the performance of duties as well as when managing team. Maintains up to date training status in all required areas for team and self. Identifies process improvements for warehouse operations and provides solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or related discipline preferred but not required. 3-5 years' experience in supply chain logistics/warehousing or related operations
• Demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience Knowledge of pharmaceutical best practices Proficiency in materials management systems/SAP applications.
