Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse, shipping/receiving, dock, or manufacturing leadership experience Position Summary We are hiring experienced Shipping & Receiving Leads / Dock Leads for both 2nd and 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for leading dock associates while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, forklift, and material-handling operations. Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant warehouse/dock leadership experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate shipping, receiving, dock, and warehouse associates. Assign work and prioritize inbound and outbound shipments. Coordinate loading and unloading of trailers. Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment. Verify shipments, quantities, labels, and shipping/receiving documentation. Process manifests, bills of lading (BOLs), receiving documents, and inventory transactions. Use RF scanners and warehouse/inventory management systems (WMS). Investigate inventory shortages, damaged product, incorrect locations, and shipping/receiving discrepancies. Monitor productivity, coach employees, and hold team members accountable. Enforce forklift, PPE, warehouse, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized dock and assist with hands-on housekeeping as needed. Coordinate with production, inventory, transportation, and warehouse teams to prevent delays. Complete shift turnover and communicate trailer status, inventory issues, equipment concerns, staffing needs, and unfinished work. Prepare basic shift recap emails and operational documentation. Attend shift changeover meetings approximately 15-30 minutes before the scheduled shift. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse, dock, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing leadership experience. Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Dock Lead, Shipping & Receiving Lead, Team Lead, Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar leadership role. Hands-on forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Experience with shipping and receiving, loading/unloading, inventory control, and material handling. Experience with bills of lading, manifests, shipping/receiving documentation, and inventory records. Experience using RF scanners, WMS, or inventory systems. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong commitment to warehouse and forklift safety. Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift. Must be available for either 2nd shift (4:00 PM-12:00 AM) or 3rd shift (12:00 AM-8:00 AM). Preferred Equipment Experience Experience with multiple types of material-handling equipment is preferred, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on warehouse position requiring extended standing and walking, bending, stooping, reaching, material handling, equipment operation, and general housekeeping duties.

Pay:

$24.00

•$27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
