Our client, a third-party logistics (3PL) and order fulfillment company, is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor for their location in Statesville, NC . The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving, inventory control, staff training, development, and management. This position typically requires 3 to 5 years of relevant warehousing, shipping, or supply chain experience, plus 2 to 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

The Day-to-Day:

Assign daily tasks, create shift schedules, and provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to warehouse staff. Manage teams of workers, coordinate logistics, monitor inventory levels, and enforce safety standards. Coordinates shipping, receiving, order picking, packaging, and loading to meet tight delivery windows and customer expectations. Conducts stock audits, maintains accurate inventory records, and resolves discrepancies between physical stock and system logs. Enforces OSHA, USDA, or company safety protocols, conducts routine safety audits, and handles incident investigations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or a related field is often preferred. 3 to 5 years of relevant warehousing, shipping, or supply chain experience, plus 2 to 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong leadership, verbal communication, problem-solving, and basic computer or warehouse management system (WMS) literacy.

Pay Rate:

$23.00 to $25.00 /hr
