The list below is not exclusive but lists the primary day to day responsibilities The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly received, documented, and processed in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, coordinating with truck drivers, and working closely with other management personnel to ensure smooth operations of the shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities:
Scan and process incoming and outgoing products using computer software and handheld devices. ? Prepare, print, and organize all required paperwork and documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that all products are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for. Direct truck traffic and communicate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient loading and unloading of products. Work closely with other management personnel to address any issues related to shipping and receiving. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and maintain the shipping and receiving area to ensure a safe and organized work environment. Cross-train and assist in other departments as needed. Cognitive Demands Self-motivated with good oral and written skills. Must be organized and familiar with scheduling processes. Demonstrated ability to train and direct employees on the proper process. Must be able to work long hours and be available to work all shifts.
