Job Description

We are seeking a candidate for the 5th Shift Supervisor role. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership experience while supporting safe and efficient plant operations. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating employees, equipment, and production activities to meet daily operational goals while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and customer service. Who We Are Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative founded in 1983 that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products. Our company has become one of the largest soybean processing cooperatives in the world and our plants process soybeans that can be used in a variety of products such as animal feed, vegetable oil, and fuels. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and training. Monitor equipment and facility operations through logs, reports, and inspections. Assist with production and maintenance activities as needed, including loading/unloading, railcar movement, cleaning, and process operations. Review daily production records to ensure quality and efficiency. Assist with inventory control activities such as counting and sampling. Collect and test water samples and recommend process adjustments when needed. Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Prepare daily operational reports and attend company meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NOPA, and BQ 9000 regulations related to plant operations. Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with diverse teams.
