This pivotal role ensures the efficient management of inventory, materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes, while maintaining safety standards and fostering a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics systems. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to promote safety and productivity. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and logistics workflows. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment maintenance to facilitate heavy lifting and materials handling safely. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for outbound and inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery. Monitor shipping & receiving procedures, verifying accuracy of shipments against documentation. Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, discrepancies, and adjustments for audit readiness. Support the integration of e-commerce order fulfillment processes into warehouse operations. Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience as a Warehouse Foreman or Supervisor with extensive warehouse management experience. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, logistics principles, and warehouse distribution practices. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment like forklifts and other heavy machinery. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively within fast-paced environments involving heavy lifting and materials handling. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process documentation. Ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehousing operations.
