Responsibilities Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments. Manage and train a team of shipping and receiving staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory management and order fulfillment. Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation. Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred. Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and logistics software. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in shipping and receiving.
