The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels. Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in compliance with company policies. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices in materials handling. Utilize AS400 systems for inventory tracking and reporting purposes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations. Collaborate with other departments to support e-commerce initiatives and logistics functions. Skills Proficient in Fishbowl Inventory Mangament software for inventory management and reporting. Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts. Proven experience in team management, schedule management, fostering a collaborative work environment. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Familiarity with distribution center operations and best practices in logistics. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
