We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading others, and is committed to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. What You'll Do The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Branchburg, New Jersey Door Distribution Plant. As our Warehouse Supervisor, we need your in-depth knowledge of operations to:
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.
- Create a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment through coaching, communication, and accountability.
- Conduct daily team huddles to align priorities, communicate updates, and celebrate successes.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, loading, shipping, inventory, and specialty operations as applicable.
- Partner with Operations Leadership to execute operational plans and maintain standard best practices.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
- Coach employees through performance challenges while recognizing and reinforcing great work.
- Partner with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operational, addressing issues quickly when they arise.
- Help lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that support business growth. Who You Are We would love to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of doors, warehousing, logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Experience leading teams through change while maintaining engagement and performance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or related systems is an asset.
- Continuous improvement experience or Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Experience working in a union environment is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
