The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and last-mile delivery operations within a pharmaceutical distribution environment. This role ensures all product handling, staging, and dispatching activities meet strict compliance, safety, and quality standards. The Warehouse Lead coordinates a team of associates and drivers, supports inventory accuracy, ensures timely order fulfillment, and maintains proper chain-of-custody procedures for all regulated products.
Hours:
40 standard, however additional hours will be necessary based on customer needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the Hub Manager in managing daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. Oversee daily warehouse functions including receiving, staging, and dispatching deliveries. Coordinate and lead warehouse associates and contracted delivery drivers to ensure efficient last-mile delivery execution. Ensure compliance with all customer handling standards, including temperature control, product integrity, and chain-of-custody documentation. Monitor product accuracy, cycle counts, scanning, and maintain regulatory compliance. Assign work tasks, provide real-time direction, and support training. Conduct daily "Stand Ups" and enforce company safety standards, SOPs. Communicate operational updates or issues to management, including delivery delays, damaged product, or compliance concerns. Assist in resolving escalations related to delivery exceptions, customer inquiries, or product discrepancies. Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of warehouse or logistics experience; previous lead or supervisor experience preferred. Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or regulated product distribution strongly preferred. Knowledge of last-mile delivery processes, routing, and logistics operations. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems i.e. ECourier, Beans etc.
