Job Description
It's more than a job As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to drive operational excellence, support inventory accuracy, and lead warehouse activities while promoting a culture of safety and quality. This position works 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. How you create impact Supervise and coordinate inbound shipments, unloading activities, and receiving processes. Verify shipment documentation and ensure product counts are accurate. Oversee inventory movement, put-away activities, and location accuracy using ERP and WMS systems. Manage picking, staging, storage, and outbound deliveries while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Inspect inbound product for accuracy and damage. Promote the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment. Assign work, monitor schedules, and ensure timely completion of daily tasks. Maintain inventory organization, product rotation, and optimal warehouse space utilization. Ensure a clean, secure, and organized work environment. Support and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures. Complete operational reports and records accurately and on time. Assist site leadership in maintaining compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security (QSHE) standards. Support compliance with applicable ISO and quality management systems. Ability to stand for extended periods and work overtime or weekends as needed. Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and schedule flexibility to support business needs.
