Job Description

Overview CORT Furniture R ental is hiring a full-time Warehouse Coordinator in North Bergen, NJ . The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with the Warehouse Night Shift Manager in the unloading and processing of daily truck deliveries , inventory management, billing reconciliation , and cross-departmental communication and collaboration. This is an onsite position performed from the CORT distribution center.
Salary:
$24.00- $26.50 / hou r depending on experience.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:pm- 10:30pm. Saturdays may be required . Responsibilities Loading and Unloading Trucks:
Load and unload trucks for daily routes, ensuring no scratches or damage and correct item placement. Pulling Furniture for
Deliveries:
Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Furniture Processing:
Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure it is rental-ready .
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain and clean the warehouse, including breaking down cardboard and dumping trash.
Inventory Control & Management :
Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accuracy in product movement and storage.
Safety and Compliance:
Participate i n safety meetings, perform daily warm-ups, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Billing Reconciliation:
A ssist with end-of-day billing reconciliation processes to ensure transactions, lease activity, and supporting documentation are accurately completed and aligned prior to billing, minimizing discrepancies and ensuring accurate customer invoicing Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred 5 years of warehouse experience preferred 5 years of inventory management and cycle count ing experience preferred Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks Proficiency with basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment .
