Wellhead Systems — Hobbs, New Mexico Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Starting at $20/hour, DOE About Wellhead Systems Wellhead Systems is a wholesale distributor serving the oilfield industry. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Operations & Warehouse Coordinator to join our Hobbs team. This is a hands-on, variety-filled position where no two days are necessarily the same. One day you may spend more time in the office answering phones, assisting customers and entering tickets into our ERP software. The next, you may be pulling orders, receiving freight, organizing the warehouse or making a delivery. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, is willing to learn and understands that being part of a small, hands-on team means pitching in wherever needed. What You'll Do Office & Customer Service Answer phones and assist customers with a professional, helpful attitude Enter customer orders and tickets into our ERP software Process paperwork and perform general administrative duties Communicate with customers and team members to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently Warehouse Operations Pull, stage and prepare customer orders Receive and put away freight Load and unload products and materials Maintain an organized and clean warehouse Assist with inventory and other warehouse duties as needed Regional Deliveries Make deliveries throughout the surrounding area and into West Texas using a company work pickup Delivery routes may include Carlsbad, Artesia, Eunice, Lovington, Denver City, Levelland and other surrounding communities Safely load, secure and transport products Provide professional customer service during deliveries Ensure products are delivered accurately and on time Work Environment & Expectations This is a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly . Some days can be extremely busy, while other days may allow time to focus on organization, preparation and general upkeep. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, self-directed and able to prioritize tasks independently without constant supervision . When things slow down, we expect employees to recognize what needs attention and take initiative.
Downtime may include:
Cleaning and organizing work areas Restocking supplies and products Facing and organizing inventory Straightening and maintaining the warehouse General housekeeping and organization Preparing for upcoming orders and deliveries Identifying other areas that need attention If you see something that needs to be done, we want you to take the initiative to do it. Physical Requirements This position involves regular lifting, moving, loading and unloading of industrial products and freight. Some materials may be heavy; however, employees have access to equipment designed to assist with material handling, including lifting straps, forklifts and carts , to reduce unnecessary physical strain and allow materials to be moved safely and efficiently. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday Standard schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Weekly rotating extended schedule: 7:30 AM-5:30 PM After completing the initial 90-day period and becoming comfortable with the position, employees will participate in a rotating 7-day on-call schedule , including after-hours and weekends During an on-call week, the employee will respond to customer calls, pull the necessary order and provide the product to the customer as needed New employees will not begin the on-call rotation until after 90 days and after they are comfortable and sufficiently trained in the position.
