Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Lead (Experienced) and take charge of overseeing daily warehouse operations with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient distribution, inventory accuracy, and seamless logistics processes. Your expertise will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and optimize warehouse workflows to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a team-oriented environment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and track stock levels accurately and manage inventory efficiently. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline workflows. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels using inventory control techniques; resolve discrepancies promptly. Train team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation including mechanical knowledge of materials handling tools. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or distribution center operations with a strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience. Skilled in inventory management techniques including cycle counting and stock reconciliation. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting. Familiarity with lean management principles to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
