Resort Services operates all Retail, Rental and Special Events for Taos Ski Valley, Inc. Additionally Resort Services operates a warehouse facility to support these various departments. The Warehouse Lead will help oversee Resort Services' shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution needs. Reporting directly to the Buying Team, the Warehouse Clerk will play a critical role in receiving and inventory management. The Warehouse Lead will maintain a best-in-class workspace by promoting safety, security, cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. This job description is intended to be a broad description of duties. You will be expected to carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Help the Buying Team and all departments with shipping, receiving, processing, and secure, organized storage of product and supplies.
  • Assist with distribution of product and supplies to all departments.
  • Operation of a forklift.
  • Driving a company vehicle at the resort, often to Taos and longer distances.
  • Lead by example with world-class safety, cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Inventory movement reporting.
  • Track and validate daily cleaning and organizational duties.
  • Attend and engage in trainings for professional development.
  • Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
  • 2 years warehouse, inventory management or related experience required.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Retail point-of-sale and or inventory management software experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple functions simultaneously in a high-pressure environment and on strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrates experience appropriately handling differences, both internally and/or with guests.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require moving on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Travel may be required during trade shows.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
25% of time spent sitting at a computer or POS. 50% of time spent standing/walking and moving objects with a hand-truck dolly. Generally lifting 10-25lbs and rarely up to 50lbs. Operating a pallet jack, forklift and driving company vehicles.
