- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Gains full understanding and demonstrates adherence to the safety program
- Loads trucks as per the daily schedule, utilizing the onsite systems
- Unloads product as per the daily schedule, utilizing the onsite systems
- Handles inquiries and orders for customers and sales personnel
- Maintains shipping logs, prepares bills of lading, and calculates split-load tonnages based on a customer's instructions
- Completes all safety checks and audits independently on site
- Maintains supply point and 5S standards
- Operates mobile equipment safely and efficiently on site
- Completes basic maintenance of equipment on site
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor. To succeed in this position, you will need:
- High school graduation or equivalent is required.
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Independently proficient with company apps for site emails, safety incident reporting, completing training and other programs
- Received internal or external certification for Rail Conductor, Barge and Truck Safety as per site requirements
- Received internal or external certification for use of onsite mobile equipment as per site requirements
