Job Description

Receiving Associate - Night Shift Responsibilities Assist in inventory counting processes and perform periodic inventory audits. Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies. Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and packing lists. Accurately record received items in the inventory management system, including part numbers, quantities, and serial numbers. Organize and stage received merchandise in appropriate storage areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility. Inspect and identify defects or damages in received items and notify the appropriate team members for further action. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area while adhering to company safety, sanitation, and food safety standards. Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve issues or discrepancies with received items. Work cross-functionally with warehouse, operations, and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of products. Support daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced food distribution environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or food distribution experience preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues. Proficient in using inventory management systems and software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document information. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and vendors. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift products throughout the shift. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule Night Shift:
5:00 PM - 3:00 AM Must be available to work overtime as needed , including extended shifts, weekends, and peak business periods. Flexibility to work additional hours based on operational demands. Work Environment Work is performed in a warehouse and food distribution environment. Must follow all company food safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
