In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, ensure efficient inventory control, and manage a team of warehouse associates. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations. Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff to achieve high performance levels while fostering a positive team environment. Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL partners to streamline distribution center operations and improve delivery timelines. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow. Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; conduct regular cycle counts. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and enforce safety protocols across all warehouse activities. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control systems, and logistics processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS). Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment safely. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and resolve conflicts promptly. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with materials handling. Familiarity with OSHA standards, lean management practices, e-commerce fulfillment processes, and shipping & receiving procedures.
