Full-Time Job Summary WCD is seeking an experienced and highly organized Control Tower Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse, transportation, and operational coordination activities. This position serves as a central point of communication between warehouse operations, transportation, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure orders and shipments move efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver and communicator who can monitor multiple activities simultaneously, identify operational issues, prioritize urgent situations, and provide clear direction to warehouse and logistics teams. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily Control Tower operations supporting warehouse and transportation activities. Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, delivery schedules, and warehouse priorities. Coordinate communication between warehouse teams, drivers, carriers, customers, and internal departments. Track shipment status and proactively identify delays, exceptions, shortages, damages, or other operational issues. Manage daily workload priorities and ensure critical shipments receive immediate attention. Monitor warehouse and transportation activity through company systems, reports, dashboards, and communication channels. Coordinate dock schedules, loading and unloading activities, and trailer movements as needed. Ensure orders are processed, staged, loaded, and dispatched according to established schedules. Escalate operational issues to management and coordinate timely resolutions. Maintain accurate records of shipment activity, exceptions, delays, and corrective actions. Provide direction and support to warehouse personnel and other operational team members. Coach, train, and hold team members accountable for productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer service. Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels. Assist with investigating inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, damaged products, and delivery issues. Communicate schedule changes and operational updates to appropriate #LONG-1Pay:
