Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling activities. Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and system updates using warehouse management systems. Coordinate logistics activities with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize distribution efficiency. Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow and reduce waste. Enforce OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Oversee shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries. Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, discrepancies, and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehouse operations and support overall supply chain objectives. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles within distribution centers or logistics environments. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, inventory control, and materials handling procedures. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Experience operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment safely. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, heavy lifting protocols, and safety standards in warehousing. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication and team leadership skills. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and documentation.
