Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is vital in ensuring efficient inventory management, process optimization, and seamless logistics coordination. The Warehouse Lead will supervise team members, manage warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards to support the overall success of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and proficiency with warehouse management systems. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling to ensure operational efficiency. Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear direction and managerial communication to foster a productive team environment. Oversee inventory management processes utilizing warehouse management systems and inventory control techniques to maintain accuracy. Coordinate logistics activities involving 3PL providers, freight carriers, and internal departments to optimize distribution center operations. Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities. Manage shipping & receiving functions, including scheduling, documentation, and quality checks. Conduct regular audits of inventory levels using inventory management systems to prevent discrepancies. Train team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment. Support heavy lifting tasks as needed while maintaining a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a minimum of three years in a supervisory or lead role within a distribution or logistics setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory management systems, and logistics coordination. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software (WMS). Skilled in the operation of forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment. Excellent team management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards related to warehousing. Experience with process improvement initiatives such as lean management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently. Prior experience managing shipping & receiving operations within a 3PL or distribution center environment is preferred. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
