Job Description

DiCarlo Distributors, Inc., a leading family-owned foodservice distributor in New York, seeks a Warehouse PM Supervisor to lead evening warehouse operations. You will oversee receiving, picking, loading, and shipping, ensuring orders are accurate, on time, and handled safely. Responsibilities include scheduling and coaching staff, monitoring productivity, enforcing food safety and OSHA standards, and coordinating with transportation and customer service. This role offers stability, growth in operations and logistics, and the chance to support thousands of regional customers nightly. Responsibilities Supervise PM warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, loading and shipping to meet service and accuracy goals Direct, schedule, and coach PM warehouse associates to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met Monitor workflow, order volume, and staffing levels to balance labor and meet daily cutoffs for outbound routes Enforce safety, food handling, and OSHA guidelines; conduct inspections and address hazards promptly Coordinate with transportation and customer service to resolve order, delivery, and inventory issues Oversee use and care of material handling equipment and warehouse systems (RF scanners, WMS) Track performance metrics (error rates, on-time loading, productivity) and implement process improvements Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution during PM shift Support hiring, training, performance feedback, and discipline of PM warehouse staff Ensure adherence to company policies and promote a team-oriented, customer-focused culture Required Skills Warehouse operations management Staff scheduling and supervision Foodservice distribution processes Inventory control and cycle counting Material handling equipment operation oversight Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) RF scanning and order picking processes OSHA and workplace safety compliance Basic data analysis and KPI tracking Process improvement in logistics
