This role is responsible for supervising receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who can maintain efficiency, accuracy, and cleanliness in a fast-paced operation. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and receiving of raw materials, packaging, and finished product. Verify order accuracy and ensure FIFO is followed Manage logistics including inbound and outbound freight, research discrepancies with carriers Lead, schedule, train, and support warehouse staff to meet productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, proper stock rotation, and timely system updates. Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements, including GMP, HACCP, and OSHA-related practices as applicable. Monitor warehouse conditions to ensure products are stored at proper temperatures and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Coordinate closely with production, quality, supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams to support OTIF goals. Manage KPIs Oversee inbound and outbound documentation, shipment verification, and reporting for accuracy and completeness. Investigate inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, damaged goods, and process bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, racking, and other warehouse equipment are used safely and maintained appropriately. Promote a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment. Attributes Previous supervisory or team lead experience required. Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control procedures, and standard shipping/receiving processes. Understanding of food safety and quality requirements, including GMP and HACCP principles preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing, food distribution, or a regulated production environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
M - Medium Work-Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. The listed base pay range is a good-faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
