SHIPPING COORDINATOR
Adecco is hiring for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our client's team! This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience coordinating shipments in a manufacturing or professional environment.Pay:
$ 22.00-$26.50/hour, depending on experienceSchedule:

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for arranging and coordinating customer shipments while working closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Service, Accounting, customers, freight carriers, and customs brokers to ensure orders are accurately packaged, documented, and shipped on time.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Receive customer orders and verify quantities, labeling, and packaging. Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms. Contact freight carriers and transportation providers for quotes and schedule pickups and deliveries. Provide shipment updates and tracking information to customers and internal teams. Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies to minimize delays. Coordinate with customs brokers and other authorities for international shipments. Work with Production, Quality, Compliance, Sales, and Service teams to coordinate daily packaging and shipping schedules. Confirm customer payment status with Accounting when needed. Notify customers of shipments and provide tracking information. Assist Sales and Service with obtaining freight quotations for new orders. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. 2-3 years of related shipping, logistics, customer service, or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Ability to read and interpret procedures, instructions, and other company documentation. Ability to work independently and effectively with multiple departments. International shipping, customs, or freight coordination experience is a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Position may require working in both office and manufacturing environments and wearing required PPE.Pay Details:
