LEAD TODDLER TEACHER
It Takes A Village 24HR Childcare Center Syracuse, NY 13204 $17-$20 per hour | Full-Time Do you believe the first three years of life matter most? It Takes A Village 24HR Childcare Center is looking for an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher who is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. We're looking for someone who understands that caring for toddlers is more than supervision, it's building trusting relationships, encouraging development, and creating meaningful learning experiences every day. Responsibilities Lead an toddler classroom each day Create and implement age-appropriate learning experiences Complete daily observations and classroom documentation Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Follow children's feeding, diapering, sleeping, and care routines Communicate professionally with families regarding their child's day Ensure compliance with New York State childcare regulations Guide and support Assistant Teachers assigned to your classroom Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Qualifications Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare program Knowledge of child development from birth through age three Ability to lead a classroom and maintain daily routines Strong communication and organizational skills CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience preferred Must meet New York State licensing requirements Why Join Our Village?
