Retirement Savings Warehouse Lead Description:

In the absence of Warehouse Management/Supervision, the Lead Position assumes full responsibility for warehouse operations for the assigned facility. The position is responsible for the accurate and efficient execution of all work processes necessary to complete the assigned workload safely and productively while meeting customer expectations. Ensures the operating efficiency, accuracy, and damage targets are met by managing and communicating with team members and Warehouse leadership.

Able to shift priorities to accommodate changing job demands. Communicates with employees and truck drivers effectively and positively. Understands and applies relevant business knowledge/education with employees (ex., Performance standards, Department Goals, Continuous Improvement, etc). Keeps the facility tour and audit ready by following and recording information on the daily cleaning schedule and warehouse cleaning schedule. Assists in maintaining accurate records for inventory. Fills out and maintains administrative records as necessary for all department activities. Enter data into reports and billing accurately. Any other duties assigned by Warehouse management.

Requirements:

High School Diploma Lean training preferred, not required. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office. Must be efficient and accurate in data/billing entries into the system. Must achieve all necessary deadlines. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers by e-mail, phone, and other correspondence. Must be prompt and accurate in all responses. Skilled in operating relevant material handling equipment (ex, forklifts, stretch wrappers, etc.). Able to effectively train others in how to operate safely.
