Qualifications for the
CNC Lathe Machinist Role:
At least three years of hands-on experience in the setup and operation of CNC lathes. Proficiency in editing programs using Fanuc controls or G/M code. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Competence in utilizing precision measurement tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators. Background in machining components like pistons, shafts, rods, tubes, bushings, and hydraulic cylinders is considered an asset.
Compensation and Perks:

Core Duties and Expectations:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise in CNC machine operation, covering everything from initial setup and programming to routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical or fixturing malfunctions. You should be comfortable applying shop math to determine optimal speeds and feeds for various materials and performing necessary metric conversions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring parts consistently meet strict surface finish standards and precise dimensional tolerances. Familiarity with basic computer tasks related to file management is also helpful.
Required Proficiencies:
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ensure part accuracy. Demonstrated ability in CNC programming to support production efficiency. Strong command of G-Code for machine control. Effective use of M-Code for auxiliary machine functions. Skill in performing machine setups and changeovers to minimize downtime. Advanced inspection techniques to maintain high quality control standards.
Equipment and Technology:
Operation of 2-4 axis CNC lathes. Operation of 5+ axis CNC lathes.
