Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime, including extended hours and Saturdays as needed Position Summary The Planner has a high level of responsibility to ensure operations are efficient and operating at optimal performance. This requires an in-depth knowledge of the logistics process. A high level of communication skills and the ability to provide great customer service are needed for this position. The objective is to ensure all orders are processed efficiently and on time. The Planner ensures work is readily available for employees and is the first point of contact for operations when problems with orders, systems, and/or equipment arise. This position reports to the Control Tower Supervisor. Job Responsibilities Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Monitor wave performance and make adjustments as needed to meet changing demands in order to meet customer SLAs. Resolve issues interfering with on-time completion of orders. Communicate and escalate issues. Monitor inventory levels and work with operations to ensure inventory is correctly allocated for outbound orders. Ensure inventory is properly allocated to meet wave plans and customer demands. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance warehouse operations and streamline workflows. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Communicate with Client Services regarding non-workable orders. Address and resolve issues or discrepancies related to wave planning and order fulfillment. Identify possible bottlenecks and resolve them before they escalate. Serve as the point of contact for the operations team when there are problems with orders, systems, or materials. Actively engage in process optimization and suggest improvements. Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. Extensive and demonstrable experience using Excel and SAP. Experience in production/logistics processes, preferably in contract logistics. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Strong analytical skills. Physical Demands & Work Environment Able to stand/walk for long periods of time. Ability to stand, reach, stoop, and bend. Manufacturing environment. Must be able to bend, pull, push, lift, and traverse stairs. May lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to perform data entry for long periods of time.
