Warehouse Lead Job Details Pay Rate :
$25.00/hrLocation :
Golf Manor, OH Warehouse Lead Requirements/Qualifications Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience required. Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Comfortable using hand tools and performing minor equipment adjustments or repairs. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with measurements. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to lead, motivate, train, and hold a small team accountable. Dependable, hands-on approach with willingness to assist wherever needed. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the workday. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CorelDRAW experience is a plus, but not required. About the Warehouse Lead Role As a Warehouse Lead, your responsibilities will include: Lead and coordinate daily activities for a warehouse team of approximately 6-7 employees. Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Train, coach, and provide direction to warehouse employees. Assist with receiving, organizing, staging, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished products. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues with equipment and machinery. Identify equipment problems and determine when repairs or maintenance are needed. Use hand tools and basic equipment to make adjustments and minor repairs when appropriate. Accurately use a tape measure and other basic measuring tools. Read and follow work instructions, measurements, specifications, and production requirements. Assist with production and manufacturing tasks as needed. Monitor inventory, materials, and supplies and communicate shortages or issues to management. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished products. Promote safe work practices and ensure team members follow company policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with production and management to resolve problems and keep operations moving. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Perform additional duties as needed to support overall company operations.
