Shift:
Flexible We are seeking a Supervisor to join a fast-paced operations environment. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated individual with 2-5 years of leadership experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field. The position offers competitive compensation, performance incentives, and benefits eligibility after 30 days. The Opportunity This role is designed to develop future operational leaders. You will gain hands-on experience managing daily activities, supporting team members, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities may include overseeing a shift or specific operational functions while building the skills needed for advancement. Daily Responsibilities Coordinate with carriers and support transportation-related activities Oversee daily operations with a focus on safety and efficiency Prepare and reconcile daily financial and operational reports Monitor labor and productivity metrics Ensure service expectations are consistently met Address and resolve employee and service-related issues Enforce workplace policies and safety procedures Lead regular safety meetings Assist with budgeting and cost control Schedule staff based on workload demands Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training Ensure accurate and timely data entry Complete end-of-day administrative tasks, including payroll-related processes Qualifications At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an operational setting Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to coach and develop team members Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Effective problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Experience working with budgets and operational reporting Intermediate computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to operate equipment as needed Comfortable working in an industrial environment with varying conditions Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Education and/or Experience Experience in logistics, warehousing, or related operations preferred Postsecondary education is a plus but not required Demonstrated leadership experience, including training and team oversight Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Experience with reporting and performance tracking tools General computer proficiency Why Join This Opportunity Competitive pay Performance-based incentives Benefits available after 30 days Opportunities for internal advancement Paid training Team-oriented, results-driven work environment About the Organization This organization operates within the logistics and operations sector, supporting a variety of business functions through efficient workforce management and process execution.
