Job Describtion . In this role, you'll oversee daily VAS operations including hemming, embroidery, appliqué, engraving, and other customer-specific customization services . You'll be responsible for making sure work is completed accurately, efficiently, safely, and on time while meeting client specifications and quality standards. What You'll Do Manage daily VAS workflows and ensure client work orders and special-project instructions are clearly communicated to Team Leads and associates. Plan project timelines, capacity, labor, and staffing to meet productivity, cost, and deadline targets. Prioritize work around client deadlines, product launches, seasonal peaks, and other business needs. Identify and escalate capacity, staffing, equipment, or material constraints before they impact customers. Partner with Account Management and Customer Experience (AM/CX) to scope new VAS programs, including labor, equipment, material requirements, and operational feasibility. Own department quality by establishing inspection checkpoints, investigating errors and complaints, and conducting root-cause analysis. Reduce defects, rework, and customer impact through corrective and preventive actions. Track product damage, ensure proper identification and system damage-outs, maintain accurate damage logs, and implement corrective actions to control loss and cost. Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and associates by setting daily goals, conducting standups, managing performance, and addressing associate needs. Partner with HR on employee relations and progressive corrective action when necessary. Oversee new-hire training on SOPs, customer-specific requirements, equipment, safety, and quality procedures. Cross-train employees to provide labor flexibility across VAS functions. Maintain OSHA and workplace safety standards, including PPE, equipment upkeep, housekeeping, and 5S practices. Coordinate with Receiving, Inventory, Returns, Production, Outbound, AM/CX, and IT to keep operations running smoothly. Ensure materials and supplies are available and managed cost-effectively. Track and report key department KPIs including completion rates, productivity, labor efficiency, quality/error rates, and damages. Identify and implement continuous-improvement opportunities across workflows, equipment, and processes. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, production, or manufacturing operations. 2+ years of experience leading or supervising a team. Demonstrated ability to manage workflows, timelines, capacity, and labor to meet productivity and cost goals. Strong quality-control mindset with experience in inspection, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action. Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to hold employees accountable for productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Working knowledge of OSHA/safety practices, PPE, and 5S. Comfortable working with warehouse/inventory systems and basic KPI reporting. Ability to work on-site and support seasonal peaks, including flexible or extended hours when needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with VAS or product customization such as embroidery, hemming, appliqué, engraving, or screen printing. Previous experience in a 3PL or e-commerce fulfillment environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience with Paycom or a similar HRIS/timekeeping system. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
