Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Shipping Supervisor to oversee our fulfillment operations. This pivotal role involves managing the day to day operations at our fulfillment center, coordinating production, transportation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, time management, the ability to multitask, and familiarity with standard material handling equipment and LTL freight. Responsibilities Supervise daily production and shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, packaging, and dispatching. Coordinate transportation planning and manage relationships with carriers, including third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight companies. Oversee inventory management within the warehouse, including stock control, cycle counting, and warehouse distribution. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in production, shipping, materials handling, and warehouse operations. Manage team members involved in production, picking & packing, forklift operation, and materials management. Maintain accurate documentation for shipments. Requirements Proven experience in management, warehouse operations, or shipping in a warehouse/ production environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Hands-on experience with picking and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments.
