Job Description

RoadSafe Traffic Systems seeks a Shop Support team member to assist our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations in the Transportation & Logistics industry. In this safety-first, fast-paced environment, you'll stage, load, and unload traffic control and pavement marking materials, maintain tools and equipment, keep the shop clean and organized, and assist with basic assembly or repairs. You'll follow strict safety procedures, support field crews with accurate, timely orders, and help track inventory. Responsibilities Load, unload, and stage traffic control and pavement marking materials and equipment Assist with basic assembly, cleaning, and minor repairs of tools and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free shop and yard area Follow all Road Safe and OSHA safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site rules Support inventory counts, labeling, and accurate documentation of materials Prepare, check, and secure loads for field crews and deliveries Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment when authorized Communicate with supervisors and field teams to prioritize daily shop tasks Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report issues promptly Assist with general warehouse and manufacturing support as needed Required Skills Warehouse operations Material handling Forklift operation Pallet jack operation Inventory counting Shipping and receiving Basic mechanical aptitude Use of hand and power tools Reading work orders Workplace safety/OSHA compliance
