Position Overview Car Parts Warehouse is looking for a dependable, motivated Shipping Crew Lead to join our team at our Perry location. This is a hands-on leadership position . The Shipping Crew Lead works alongside the shipping team while helping oversee daily workflow, order accuracy, productivity, and organization. This individual will also serve as a backup to the Shipping Manager and should be comfortable taking the lead and keeping operations running smoothly when needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Crew Lead Responsibilities Assist the Shipping Manager with daily warehouse and shipping operations Help provide direction and support to shipping team members throughout the shift Monitor workflow to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time Help maintain accountability, productivity, and organization within the department Communicate shipping issues, missing products, staffing concerns, or other problems to management Assist with opening the warehouse for first shift or closing the warehouse for second shift, depending on assigned schedule Step in for the Shipping Manager when needed Lead by example by working alongside the team and maintaining company standards Shipping Responsibilities Verify pulled products against pick tickets to ensure orders are accurate Notify the Team Lead or Manager when products are missing or an order cannot be completed Properly package products and include all required packing materials and documentation Review and print shipping labels and ensure they are placed on the correct packages Maintain a high level of accuracy on all outgoing orders Ensure packages are loaded onto the correct FedEx, UPS, or other carrier trucks Keep shipping stations stocked with boxes, airbags, tape, and other necessary supplies Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Dependable with a strong work ethic Comfortable taking initiative and providing direction to others Basic computer skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift A positive, team-oriented attitude is a must Schedule This position may be assigned to first or second shift and requires the ability to assist with opening or closing the warehouse depending on the assigned schedule. Compensation Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the Crew Lead position.
