$22 per hour
Schedule:
Thurs/Fri/Sat every other Weds 6pm - 6am
Position:
Fleet Safety Coordinator Job Description:
The Fleet Safety Coordinator will be required to sustain the company's safety rating and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company standards. Previous experience in transportation safety coordination is recommended.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Document all accidents and distribute reports to all necessary departments Responsible for post-accident testing set-up and follow-through Places vehicles out-of-service and drivers under compliance review following accidents, and contacts Operations regarding these vehicles and drivers Provides electronic log assistance and guidance and reports as requested Performs final audit on driver qualification files and follows information as required Review and approve TLS outside carriers Records and follows up on civilian driver complaints Communicate DOT Regulations and DOT interpretations in compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Computer skills: Excel, Word, Internet, AS400 and web-based systems Requires strong interpersonal & communication skills, compliance, implementation, and auditing tasks Must be familiar with standard DOT or Agency Compliance concepts, practices, and procedures Goal oriented, self-managing with time & project consideration
